Beautiful Toronto Project content is updated again! More photos to enjoy! This time I show some of the cars and not so cars from MotorExpo 2011 that was held in Toronto Canada. MotorExpo is the world's largest FREE auto show organization. They hold shows in London, Dubai, and other countries. Of course, for free! Cars ranging from Chevrolets to Ferraris are in the show. Albeit smaller than the International Auto Show, for a free Auto Show and having access to almost all the cars, I'm not complaining! Click the Jaguar above to see the rest of collection! Hope you enjoy the photos! And stay tuned for more! I literally have 3 batches of photos in queue to be released in the next couple of weeks. So sit tight! =D

Cheers,

I can't believe I forgot to post these photos. I've been wanting to take a photo of the full moon since April but bad weather and the fact that we only generally see one full moon per month meant to all the delays. Well the full moon night in July was just the perfect night to have the photo taken and here they are! =D

Aboard the Tall Ship Kajama
New content added to the Beautiful Toronto Project. This time I was taking photos on the Tall Ship Kajama, Toronto's only Sailing Cruise. A very relaxing 2 hour cruise around the Toronto Islands with an awesome view of the Toronto Skyline. Click the photo above to see the photos I took! And as usual, more photos are on their way to the Beautiful Toronto Project. In fact, I have over 3 batches in queue to be released =P. So stay tuned! And one last note, there will be a new addition to my equipment! Find out what it is in a few days :). Until next time. Keep shooting!

Been very busy at work recently. Working full time at CN Tower during the summer is not only fun but it also takes a lot of time away from me to take photos around the city. But rest assured, I got lots of photos already in the bag for you guys ready to be shared! Currently working on the next batch of the Beautiful Toronto Project and should be up in a few days. There is a constant flow of new photos in my collection so for sure we are not going to have any shortage of summer fun photos! Until next time, keep chillin'!

CN Tower

Victoria College Building
Hello Everyone!

It's been over a month since the last time I posted something new to this site. You can blame my new summer job at Toronto's CN Tower hehe. Well, even though I've been very busy at work, I still managed to walk around the city with trusty camera and snap some interesting photos for you! Actually, this latest addition in the website was taken a month ago before I started working and just didn't get the chance to upload them. So here they are! The photos this time around are photos from the University of Toronto again but I concentrated on the eastern side of the Campus where most of the Victorian style buildings are located. Alright that's that! You can click the photo above to see the newest photos in my collection. And you may also play the video below to see the photo slideshow of the newest photos made for YouTube. =D Even though I'm busy pictures are still continually being taken and edited by yours truly. In fact, there is already another batch of photos just waiting to be edited and shared to you guys. And don't forget that I will also be putting a new Set in the website called "Toronto from the Skies" which will have different photos of the city from the top of the Tallest Tower in the World, the CN Tower! =D Stay tuned! And Enjoy my newest photos!

Cheers,
Angelo Maralit

After months of searching in the internet I finally found a Canon EF 35mm f/2 lens used and for a really good price! Yeah, I'm not rich so I can't really buy lens from stores, they're just too expensive! The lens came with an official lens hood from Canon and a Tiffen UV filter. The entire package for $300. A pretty sweet deal when you consider the price of the items I got individually in retail stores. I haven't used the lens fully yet but I know I'm going to have a lot of fun shooting with this photo. When mounted to a crop sensor like the Canon Rebel XS, the focal length is effectively about 56mm which is pretty close ( a bit narrower) to what our eyes can see. This means that walking around downtown Toronto for some candid street photography will be much easier than before. I used to use the nifty-fifty (50mm lens) when doing street photography and I just found that lens to be a bit too narrow to frame the shots properly especially in crowded places downtown. So here's hoping for an awesome-tastic summer photography awesomeness with this new lens and all my other lenses! Woot!

If you want to see what the lens looks like, check out the "My Equipment" section under the "About Me" tab.

Downtown Toronto

Some of the cars in the 2011 Canadian International Auto Show
After weeks of delay and after weeks of massive work loads in university (I still have lots ahead), the pictures from the 2011 Canadian International Auto Show are finally uploaded and ready to be seen in this wonderful website! You see the pictures above? That's just a small taste of what I got in store for you. Click the any of the pictures to see the entire collection.

Psst, I'm trying something new this time around. Instead of just showing you a gallery, I posted the pictures as a slideshow so it's more pleasing to watch and more importantly less clicking on your part. So just sit back and enjoy the photos!
